BodyTite is a unique body sculpting option that allows you to target problem areas, tighten loose skin, and break up stubborn fat. BodyTiteworks uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to produce results in several ways. Radiofrequency is the same type of energy used in RF microneedling, but BodyTite makes your results more effective by treating the skin from the deepest layers outward.

During a BodyTite treatment, your provider will use local anesthesia to keep you comfortable, then make one or more tiny incisions to insert a small, thin tool that produces RF energy. The other part of the device remains on the skin’s surface, and as your provider moves the device beneath the skin, the RF energy passes between them. 

As it travels through your skin, this energy immediately causes collagen fibers to tighten, making your skin look firmer and smoother. It also activates cells in the deep layers of your skin to resume their active levels of collagen production, leading to improvements in your skin’s lift and tightness over time.

Most people only need one BodyTite treatment to achieve their desired results. However, your results will take time to develop. Skin tightening caused by contracting collagen fibers can appear almost immediately, but long-term changes in collagen levels take about three months to evolve.

Due to fat removal, the treated area will look slimmer and more contoured. While other body sculpting treatments also remove fat, only BodyTite works simultaneously to correct skin laxity, so you’re not left with an area that looks slimmer but saggy.

BodyTite results can last for years, but you may benefit from a follow-up treatment in the future to keep the skin in the area tight and firm. Your provider will discuss with you how long you can expect your results to last and maintenance options.

Depending on the area where you have BodyTite and other factors, most people can return to work in three or four days after treatment. You can expect some minor swelling and soreness in the area that can last a few days. Your provider will instruct you to limit strenuous activities and some medications for a few days to ensure you heal quickly.

Your tiny incisions will heal rapidly, and once they have healed, you will barely be able to spot them. Because it’s minimally invasive, BodyTite can provide you with more benefits than a non-invasive procedure but less downtime than surgery.

BodyTite is safe and effective for almost anyone, regardless of skin type or tone. Radiofrequency energy is widely used in a range of skin rejuvenation treatments to trigger collagen production and break up fat. However, this treatment is recommended for candidates with mild to moderate skin laxity, and those with significant sagging may not see their desired results.
