Can I tint my brows at home?

At JK Med Spa, a licensed esthetician uses professional-grade dyes to tint your brows. At-home tint kits typically include lower-quality dyes that contain potentially irritating ingredients, and may not last as long as our special semi-permanent dyes. Applying the dye also requires precision, so attempting to tint your brows at home may leave them looking “blocky,” too dark, asymmetric, or splotchy.

Will tinting damage my brow hairs or skin?

Before you leave our office, we’ll go over a few simple aftercare tips to extend your results, such as keeping them dry for the first 24 hours. Can I combine a tint with a wax or lamination?

Absolutely! While a tint defines your brows by darkening your brow hairs, waxing and lamination treatments shape them. A brow lamination keeps the hairs in place, and a professional wax removes the excess. Our providers will help you customize your brow treatment to enhance your look however you see fit.
