At JK Med Spa, our physician-led team of professionals approaches every piercing with a gentle technique and medical-grade tools, performing piercings at the perfect angle and location to ensure your comfort, safety, and satisfaction. Whether it’s your first or you’re fifth, you’re in good hands.
You must be 19 or older to receive a piercing at JK Med Spa. If you are under 19, a parent or legal guardian must accompany you to your appointment.
When you come to JK Med Spa, we take extra steps to ensure your physical and emotional comfort. Unlike traditional piercing shops, we offer topical numbing solutions under the guidance of a physician to ensure you have a positive experience. You may feel a quick pinch, but the piercing process only takes a few seconds, and our clients are often surprised by how easy it is!
After your skin has fully healed, yes. However, if you remove your jewelry too soon, your piercing can close up. The initial healing process should last between 3 and 6 weeks. Afterwards, you can remove your earrings whenever you need.
Great results start in the treatment room, but healing happens at home. Before you leave our office, we’ll discuss how to care for your piercings as they heal. Unlike piercing shops, you can always reach out for guidance from our medical professionals.
You’ll need to clean your piercing 3 to 4 times a day for 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the placement. During this time, do not touch or remove your jewelry. Keep the area clean to allow for proper healing.
