A PRP facial is a customized procedure that combines one of our many skin rejuvenation treatments with the application of PRP. Depending on your needs, we’ll help you choose the facial that matches your goals and skin concerns. Regardless of the facial you choose, adding this powerful boost of healing factors provides even better results and reduces downtime.

Our PRP facial begins with your provider taking a small sample of your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge. This machine spins the blood fast enough to separate it into layers, including a layer of clear fluid (plasma) filled with concentrated platelets. PRP is used for many purposes, including joint and muscle injuries

When applied after a facial, the growth factors begin their healing work immediately. They send signals that tell the skin cells around them to accelerate their repair process. It also releases growth factors that trigger cells, such as collagen-producing fibroblasts, to become more active.

PRP itself does not require any downtime. Collecting your blood sample usually leaves no mark, and you won’t feel more than a pinch. There may be some downtime after the facial itself, such as a few days of redness after microneedling, but PRP typically decreases this downtime and lets your skin look better more quickly.

Because PRP contains nothing but components of your blood, it is safe for almost everyone. It can be combined with many different treatments to improve their results. Good candidates for PRP should have reasonable expectations and are in generally good health. You might not be a good candidate if you have certain blood disorders that affect your platelets.
