Microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy is well-known to provide better results than microneedling alone. Secret RF microneedling provides powerful skin rejuvenation by triggering increased collagen production and bringing healthy new skin cells to the surface.

Secret RF is a highly customizable system that allows your JK Medspa expert provider to adjust its depth and intensity to maximize your results while minimizing downtime. In addition to skin tightening, it improves textural issues like lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and roughness. It also improves hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and similar concerns.

After your consultation with one of our experienced providers, you will be adjourned to a comfortable treatment room, where a numbing cream will be applied to your face. When your skin is numbed, your provider will move the microneedling device over your skin.

During treatment, a series of tiny needles enter your skin to a controlled depth. The channels they create stimulate a healing response from the surrounding skin. The needles also emit radiofrequency energy that travels through the dermis, triggering cells called fibroblasts to increase their collagen production. RF energy is an effective skin-tightening treatment, used in many other modalities like FaceTite and BodyTite.

Treatment with Secret RF microneedling usually takes about 20 minutes. Although you may feel minor warmth or a prickly sensation, most people don’t experience any discomfort. Your skin may feel warm immediately after treatment, but this effect fades quickly.

The combination of microneedling and RF energy provides both immediate and long-term benefits. Most people will see their best results with a series of three treatments. Results after treatment usually last a year or more. Many people schedule yearly maintenance sessions to keep collagen production at youthful levels and keep the skin’s surface smooth and clear. We’ll work with you to determine the schedule that works best for your needs.

Because Secret RF is so customizable, the depth and intensity of your treatment will vary, and so will your downtime. Less intensive treatments will typically result in a day or two of redness and mild swelling. More intensive sessions will often involve a few more days of redness and occasionally some mild peeling or flaking. You may choose to take a day or two of social downtime.

Your expert provider will provide you with post-treatment instructions, including which products you can use on your skin while it heals. You should avoid harsh or irritating products for several days and not wear makeup until your provider tells you otherwise.

While using lasers for skin rejuvenation is not recommended for some skin tones, Secret RF microneedling is safe for anyone. You might be a good candidate if you are in good health and want to address concerns like:
